I heard a great metaphor today:
Sex is like making cookies. Sure, cookies are great; but it's also fun to mix the ingredients and eat the cookie dough without ever putting it in the oven.
...As long as you take the proper precautions against salmonella.

I well and truly don't get it.
So sex is like making cookies. At first I think that means sex is like cookies, but that's not it. Sex is the MAKING of the cookies, the process. So the similarity is in the creationprocess. Sex creates babies, making cookies creates, well, cookies.
You know what... I was going to take this analysis further, but it goes to really weird places pretty quickly.
